Tankard of tin-glazed earthenware painted with enamels, and with a cast pewter cover. Cylindrical, with a cover with a medallion depicting a cavalier taking leave of a lady and bearing an inscription. Painted in blue with a vase of flowers in an oval medallion surrounded by formal foliage, and borders of wavy lines in blue, all set in a speckled manganese ground.
