Object history | The emblem is that of the monastery of Monte Oliveto, where most of the set still is (information of Mr Derek Clifford). |
Production | The mark on the base, taken from those of the Chigi family, was used around 1714-23 at the pottery, which was founded in 1693 by Bonaventura Chigi, Marquess of San Quirico. |
