Object history
The emblem is that of the monastery of Monte Oliveto, where most of the set still is (information of Mr Derek Clifford).
Production
The mark on the base, taken from those of the Chigi family, was used around 1714-23 at the pottery, which was founded in 1693 by Bonaventura Chigi, Marquess of San Quirico.
