Dish, without foot-rim, painted in greyish blue, yellow, brownish orange, manganese purple and olive green, depicting a Roman military scene in the middle. A young emperor mounted, with double-headed eagle on the trappings of his horse, is haranguing his troops who surround him, with a hedge of spears in the background. On the rim, bordered with a row of quatrefoils similar to those on No.1093, military trophies separated by tasselled cords.

Physical description
Dish, without foot-rim, painted in greyish blue, yellow, brownish orange, manganese purple and olive green, depicting a Roman military scene in the middle. A young emperor mounted, with double-headed eagle on the trappings of his horse, is haranguing his troops who surround him, with a hedge of spears in the background.
