A large medallion represents Victory seated on a cloud, censed by a cherub and offered homage by the Arts of Painting and Sculpture. It is enclosed in an elaborate rococo border in green and yellow of two gryphons, a water-nymph, Time, and a grotesque fountain-head, mixed with foliage. The field is scattered with flowers in bright colours, painted to conceal blemishes in the glaze.

Brief description
Vase of buff earthenware covered with a tin glaze and painted with colours. Probably painted by Fredrich Hess. German (Hochst), c.1750.
Physical description
A large medallion represents Victory seated on a cloud, censed by a cherub and offered homage by the Arts of Painting and Sculpture.
