Dish, with central depression in the boss, painted in blue, with the addition, for the heraldry only, of chocolate red, blackish manganese purple and yellow. In the depression, a shield with the arms of Gonzega, of Mantua - Argent a cross patty gules cantoned by four eagles displayed sable (Gonzega modern, granted 1433), an escutcheon over all, quarterly, 1, 4, gules a lion rampant argent (for Bohemia), 2. 3, barry of six or and sable (Gonzega ancient). The boss is painted as a heraldic rose and is encircled by a zone of light arabesques and flowers with trophies of music and grotesque monsters alternating at intervals amongst them. On the rim is a border of similar arabsques with alternate trophies of weapons and books. On the back, loose arabesque foliage 'a la porcellana' in groups, with the words 'I CHAFAGGUOLO' in the middle. Glazed all-over, only a slight footrim.
