Plate, painted in cobalt blue. In the well is a recumbent hound, with ribbons scratched through a blue background, in a medallion surrounded by alternate interlaced and fish motifs, on the rim, strapwork reserved amongst pattern of leafy tufts. On the back of the rim, eight wavy rays.
