Dish (Plate), painted in blue, copper green, deep orange, yellow, greenish grey, opaque white. In the middle, in a medallion enclosed by a band of delicate anthemion ornament in bianco sopra bianco, is a bearded figure (Jupiter?) seated in mountainous landscape, visited by Mercury. On the rim, a repeating pattern of of winged terminal figures alternating with palmettes and open books flanked by paired monsters with cornucopias issuing from their mouths, all en grisaille in reserve on blue ground. On the back, four concentric bands and in the middle a spiral, in orange and yellow.
