Dish for a ewer, painted in blue, deep orange, yellow, copper green and opaque white. On the boss, a ribboned and coronetted shield with the arms of Colonna, of Central and South Italy (Or a column argent). The boss is surrounded by a wreath with scale-pattern in white beyond it enclosed by a border of leaf-pattern. On the rim, a row of conventional bud-motives. On the back, in blue, petal motives transversely striped radiating about an eight-pointed compartment in which is enclosed M crossed by a paraph between two stars.
