The tureen is a lobed oval in section and stands on three feet. Simiarly scrolled handles are attached on the long axis and rise slightly above the corrugated rim. The handles and feet are picked out in manganese-purple, green and yellow (the handles additionally with turquoise), and the rim is green. On the body of the tureen are painted small bouquets and sprays of flowers and leaves.
