Red earthenware, circular, covered in front with a white slip, afterwards glazed. The decoration is executed with incised outline and with green and red. In the centre stand a lady and gentleman in the costume of the 18th century. On either side of them is a fiddler and a dog. The borders are composed of bands of grapes, conventional flowers, and geometrical forms. Beneath the figures is an inscription with the name "Johannes Franssen".

Brief description
Plateau of red earthenware covered with a white slip and with incised decoration of a couple, a fiddler and a dog. The design highlighted with green and red. German, Rheurdt, dated 1749.

Red earthenware, circular, covered in front with a white slip, afterwards glazed. The decoration is executed with incised outline and with green and red. In the centre stand a lady and gentleman in the costume of the 18th century. On either side of them is a fiddler and a dog.
