Tankard of dark brown stoneware with relief decoration, painted in enamel colours. On the front is a medallion depicting the Pelican in her Piety. Round the bottom is the inscription: 'CHRISTVS BESPRENGET VNS MIT SEIN BLVT, WIE DER PELICAN SEIN IVNGEN TVHT. 1662.' Nearly cylindrical with slightly spreading base and loop handle. Round the middle is a wide band of 'engine-turned' ornament, interrupted by the painted medallion. Above and below are narrow bands of rosettes and scrolls. On the handle is a lion's mask terminating in a long leaf.
