Object history | Rackham attributes this dish to wares made at Pavia by Antonio Maria Cuzio. |
Historical context | On the reverse of the dish there is an inscription stating that Presbyter Antonio Maria Cuzio, protonotary to the Pope, made this dish in 1694. There are other pieces assigned to the work of this man with the earliest dating to 1676. |
