Dish of hard-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded in imitation of Chinese porcelain. Oval with wavy edge. In the middle are figures of a Chinese lady and three children among vases and furniture, in a panel of irregular outline reserved on a ground of cell-pattern covered with flowers and butterflies. Round the rim is a border of small landscapes, floral sprays, birds, and insects, in crimson or black, in compartments reserved on a red ground covered with gilt floral ornament.
