Physical description

Jug of dark red stoneware with engine-turned and sprigged decoration, and painted silver lustre bands. Ovoid body, short wide neck with projecting lip, angular loop handle. Round the middle is a fox-hunting scene, and on one side of the handle a group of hollyhocks; the lower part is turned with shallow vertical grooves.
