Vase and cover of cream-coloured earthenware, covered with a light green glaze and decorated with gilding. Shaped ovoid body, tall foot, fluted neck, domed cover. On the shoulder are two gilt female busts forming handles, from which hang festooned garlands; on either side of the body is applied a gilt oval medallion with a relief figure of a woman in classical costume weeping over an urn on a pedestal.

Physical description
Vase and cover of cream-coloured earthenware, covered with a light green glaze and decorated with gilding. Shaped ovoid body, tall foot, fluted neck, domed cover. On the shoulder are two gilt female busts forming handles, from which hang festooned garlands; on either side of the body is applied a gilt oval medallion with a relief figure of a woman in classical costume weeping over an urn on a pedestal.
