Object history | At the time of acquisition, this bowl was thought to be English. It was subsequently changed to German. August 1926 Dr Bossert said it was NOT German. The recent label said 'German, probably Marburg'. (14 November 2001) RH recorded that Jan Daan van Dam, curator of the Rijksmuseum said it was a Dutch (North Netherlands) "grabbelbakje".; date should be right. |
