Place of origin

Flattish plate with shallow well and vertical border. Covered front and back with light blue tin-glaze. Painted in blue, green, orange, yellow and white. On the border, on a dark blue ground, grotesque decoration in pale blue and white. At the centre of the well is a shield of arms, surmounted by a cherub's head, on pale blue, surrounded by a moulding. The reverse contains zigzags and flowers in dark blue on the paler ground.

Physical description
Flattish plate with shallow well and vertical border. Covered front and back with light blue tin-glaze. Painted in blue, green, orange, yellow and white. On the border, on a dark blue ground, grotesque decoration in pale blue and white. At the centre of the well is a shield of arms, surmounted by a cherub's head, on pale blue, surrounded by a moulding. The reverse contains zigzags and flowers in dark blue on the paler ground.
