Drug jar, tin-glazed earthenware painted in dark blue, brownish orange and mangan- ese purple. Round the waist, a blue band with ornament in an oval reserve on one side; from this spring upwards and downwards two rows of broad particoloured leaves with small tre- foils amongst dots in the spaces be- tween them. Slanting narrow pointed leaves round the neck and slanting strokes on the base.

Physical description
Drug jar, tin-glazed earthenware painted in dark blue, brownish orange and mangan- ese purple. Production
The wash of pale creamy slip underlying the glaze is very apparent under part of the base, which is unglazed. This perhaps suggests Florentine zone or even Umbria more than Faenza.
