This ring combines traditional, precious materials with a bold, abstract design. It is representative of the innovative and individual work made by jewellers who continued to use traditional materials while exploring new ideas and visual effects during the late 1960s and 1970s.

Physical description

Broad band of textured gold, increasing in width towards the front where a linear pattern of gold ribs is set with three diamonds (above) and a sapphire (below).
