Artist/Maker
Place of origin

This brooch, with its stylised depiction of pine trees and their reflections in water, interprets the beauty of the landscape in an abstract form. The asymmetry of the piece, its textured surfaces and apparent fragmentation in places, are typical of innovative and individual work made by jewellers who continued to use traditional materials while exploring new ideas and visual effects during the late 1960s and 1970s.
