Raised, cast, moulded and flat-chased silver.
Brief description
Silver, London hallmarks for 1685-86, mark of John Duck.
Physical description
Two handled cup with a rounded base, straight sides and an everted lip, standing on a slightly domed, spreading foot, the body is flat-chased with chinoiserie figures, plants and exotic birds. The cover is slightly raised and chased in a similar fashion to the porringer body, surmounted by an openwork foliage finial.
