Bracelet


The bracelet is composed of six oval micromosaic plaques depicting Roman ruins and celebrated buildings.

Rome was often the last stop of travellers on the Grand Tour. An ensemble of micromosaic jewellery was a sought-after and luxurious souvenir for ladies in the Grand Tour, and documented the places visited during the journey.

On long-term loan to Los Angeles County Museum from 2010.
