Sir Arthur Gilbert and his wife Rosalinde formed one of the world's great decorative art collections, including silver, mosaics, enamelled portrait miniatures and gold boxes. Arthur Gilbert donated his extraordinary collection to Britain in 1996.

| Physical description | The shaped oval stand has four foliage-and-scroll feet, a plain, flat center, and two foliage-and-scroll handles; the border is chased wihtin with broad fluting and a band of rosettes and foliage. The bottle frame, which stands on four foliage supports, has an egg-and-dart border and a reeded and foliate handle at the center. the four small glass sbottles are cut with diamond-shaped facets and stepped shoulders and have silver mounts chased with foliage and palmettes. The glass stoppers are also cut with diamond-shaped facets. |
