Brief description
Silver and glass, London hallmarks for 1816-17, mark of Paul Storr.
Physical description
The shaped oval stand has four foliage-and-scroll feet, a plain, flat center, and two foliage-and-scroll handles; the border is chased wihtin with broad fluting and a band of rosettes and foliage. The bottle frame, which stands on four foliage supports, has an egg-and-dart border and a reeded and foliate handle at the center. the four small glass sbottles are cut with diamond-shaped facets and stepped shoulders and have silver mounts chased with foliage and palmettes. The glass stoppers are also cut with diamond-shaped facets.
