This bronze medal depicts 'George Prince Regent', laureated and in profile with the date MDCCCXVI (1816). On the reverse side Victory is depicted standing on a pedestal inscribed 'Treaties of Paris'. She is leaning on an anchor and holding a serpent in her right hand with French military trophies around her. Alongside this image an inscription reads 'Armis et consiliis' and the exergue reads 'XXX (30) May, MDCCCXIV (1814). XX (20) November MDCCCXV (1815).'

This medal is the twenty-ninth in James Mudie's series of forty 'National Medals' struck in 1820 to commemorate British victories in George III's reign. They commemorate the events of the Napoleonic period, from a British perspective.

The medals were sold individually or in sets contained within a leather bound case in the form of a book.
