Brief description | Large meat cover. Norfolk dinner service, silver, Paul Storr, 1816-1817. |
Physical description | The meat-dish cover has a plain oval rim and is alos decorated in relief with flowers, trelliswork, scrolls and shells, on matted ground; they have a coat of arms applied on both sides and a molded band of rosettes and foliage above the plain rims. Detachable reeded handles spring from lion masks above a foliate calyx. |
