Physical description
Gold oval pendant with an unpolished micromosaic plaque depicting figure of a woman, seated in an interior with a lamb at her feet; a curved band on each side of the lower half set with micromosaics in shades of green, the upper hal with curved bands of scrolling foliage in micromosaic; the whole surmounted by a loop in the shape of stylised leaves; the back with a raised central oval inscribed "ROMA" and decorated overall with filigree and granulation
