SD.184:1 is copied and abridged from James Bruce, Travels to discover the Source of the Nile, 1805, 2nd edition, 8 vols including plate volume, Edinburgh and London, 1805, Book I, Chapters V and VI. Tracings of Pls 6,7,10,11, and 13, from the plate volume, and a diagrammatic map from Cairo to the Island of Philae (presumably of Bruce's journey).
