Brief description | A high, open gig to hold two people, with a double seat,with padded and buttoned upholstery fixed to a pair of poles with two wheels. The outer surface of the curvaceous body is painted with flowers and birds. The red buttoned upholstery is entirely of 19th-century date and is now in very poor condition. The back of the footwell is covered with oil-cloth in a trellis-patterned design. |
