The entire length of the panel is occupied by a willow tree on which are perched different kinds of birds (including pheasants, ibis a magpie and a kingfisher) with a prunus growing by the side and a bamboo stem on the right. Behind the trees a lake fills the rest of the background. Stylised rocks at the roots of the trees and clouds into which their tops vanish. A water plant is growing on the left of the willow.
