This round bronze medal depicts Napoleon in profile. On the reverse side a table is depicted in front of the Imperial throne on which crowns, coronets, and sceptres are displayed while other crowns lie on the ground. Above this scene the French Eagle is shown in the sky. In the exergue an inscription reads 'Souverainetés Données MDCCCVI.' [Sovereignities Collected 1806]
This image recalls the alterations in the European Sovereignties during the Napoleonic dynasty. The crowns on the floor are emblematic of those states overthrown by Napoleon while those on the table represent the titles bestowed by him.
