This gilt-brass medal depicts King George III in profile. On the reverse side, enclosed by a coiled snake, are the scales of Justice, as well as an anchor and the words 'Pax auspicata, Nov. 3' [a sign of peace] and the date MDCCLXII [1762]. Around this are the names and dates of the victories of that year and the names of the successful commanders.
