This round bronze medal depicts William Duke of Cumberland in profile. On the reverse side, there is a lion holding a wolf with the words 'Jvstitia trivmphans. MDCCXLV' (1745).
Cumberland, the younger son of George II, is notorious for his role in putting down the Jacobite Rebellion at the Battle of Culloden in 1746.
