White screen-printed silk near-square head scarf. With a design in black and blue with flesh colour and turquoise touches. A naive portrayal of a boy, shown in profile, wears a patterned (non-tartan) kilt and Glengarry style hat. He offers a bunch of flowers to a black-haired girl, shown full face, in a blue dress and striped stockings. Both wear button boots. A black dog leaps up between the two figures. The boy's face, hands and legs, and girl's hands, neck and cheeks are picked out in flesh colour. Standing on a turquoise blue-green ground surrounded by a blue and white frame. Scarf edges have not been rolled or finished.
