Dress fabric 'Leinster' of woven silk and metal thread, made by Warner and Sons, England, 1902
Physical description
Dress fabric of woven silk and metal thread. On a pale green satin ground are woven swirling lines and cascades of bubbles in silver giving a watery effect. Superimposed are sweet-peas in silver with stems, leaves and markings in a deeper green. The silver thread is carried right across the back of the material and making it stiff.
