Ladies' turban hat made from pink, figured silk mounted over a canvas shaped to the head with a hole in the crown. The scarf is draped around the shape and falls in a stiffened and looped drape over the right ear. The hat is trimmed with two large hat pins of heavy vase square heads, set with an amethyst paste.
The hat has a buckram headband with a label that reads; 'Janette Clombier, 1 Avenue Matignon, Paris.'
