This epitaph of a seventeenth-century official is inscribed with elegant calligraphy. The man commemorated was Paek Chun-min, a junior official of the fifth rank in the Military Training Academy. He died in 1698 at the age of 64. The inscription also gives details of his ancestors over six generations and descendants for four generations.
