Beer jug and cover, in the form of a conventionalised figure of a bear hugging a dog, salt-glazed stoneware. Cylindrical body, loop handle. The head, forming the cover, has applied ears and eyes and crossed bands of applied clay on the top. Both body and head are decorated with horizontal rouletted lines and dots of brown clay.

Physical description
Beer jug and cover, in the form of a conventionalised figure of a bear hugging a dog, salt-glazed stoneware. Cylindrical body, loop handle. The head, forming the cover, has applied ears and eyes and crossed bands of applied clay on the top. Both body and head are decorated with horizontal rouletted lines and dots of brown clay.
