Fruit-dish of cream-coloured earthenware with pierced and moulded decoration, painted with purple enamel and gilded. In the middle is a bust portrait of a gentleman in the costume of the early 18th century. Oval with a wavy rim curving outwards, moulded with four shells and decorated with pierced devices. The edge is moulded with feather ornament picked out in purple. The portrait is in an oval medallion enclosed within a gilt oak wreath and surrounded by gilt floral sprays.
