Formerly in the Enoch Wood collection.
Historical context
Two lead-glazed earthenware mugs of similar form and date are in the V&A collections: 2090-1901 has a streaked iron and manganese (treacle-coloured) glaze, and 2091-1901 is mottled to resemble salt-glazed stoneware.
