Tobacco jar of red earthenware with decoration and inscription impressed and filled with white clay under a brownish yellow glaze. Iron lid. Cylindrical. The moulded top has a rebate for the low cylindrcal, flat-topped lid. Inscribed in capital letters "James Offen Great Chart Kent 1841" above two rows of a repeated starry device impressed with a crosss-cut stick and filled with white clay.

Tobacco jar of red earthenware with decoration and inscription impressed and filled with white clay under a brownish yellow glaze. Iron lid. Cylindrical.
