Oval cameo, Aphrodite (Venus) with her husband Vulcan, Aphrodite is shown as a full-length nude facing forward and holding a staff/spear, Vulcan is seated and hammering at his work on a table, a putti stands on either side of them, red sulphur mounted with gilt-edged paper
