Vase and cover of white stoneware, with light blue relief decoration. The body is in the form of a flower-pot with wavy edge on a tall foot; it is moulded with wickerwork pattern and decorated with two female figures mourning by monuments, with scallop-shell handles between. Round the rim and the lower part is a wreath of vine-branches. The cover is in the form of a concave ring with perforations and a vine wreath round the middle.

Stoneware spill vase and cover, white stoneware with pale blue relief decoration, made at the factory of William Pratt, Lane Delph, Staffordshire, ca. 1790-1799
Physical description
Vase and cover of white stoneware, with light blue relief decoration. The body is in the form of a flower-pot with wavy edge on a tall foot; it is moulded with wickerwork pattern and decorated with two female figures mourning by monuments, with scallop-shell handles between.
