Jasperware sugar basin with reliefs depicting Romulus with the Wolf, a group of Tritons, a warrior in a chariot with Victory, Cupid flying, and Bacchus in a car drawn by leopards. The figures are in white in oval medallions suspended by ribbons from discs, from which hang also festoons of ivy. Round the rim is a wreath of foliage and at the base a border of acanthus and palm-leaves alternately arranged.

Physical description
Jasperware sugar basin with reliefs depicting Romulus with the Wolf, a group of Tritons, a warrior in a chariot with Victory, Cupid flying, and Bacchus in a car drawn by leopards. The figures are in white in oval medallions suspended by ribbons from discs, from which hang also festoons of ivy. Round the rim is a wreath of foliage and at the base a border of acanthus and palm-leaves alternately arranged.
