Posset pot of buff earthenware with slip decoration under a yellow glaze. Wide bell-shaped, with three equidistant loop handles and between them crinkled vertical bands. Decorated in slip in horizontal bands: 'ROBART SHAW' in brown with white dots and crisscross of white and brown, below a border of formal fronds in white dots on brown and at the base large brown dots and bold strokes.
