Object history note

British model, Twiggy was a major fan of Bill Gibb’s work and helped his popularity further grow. In the early seventies Twiggy was making her debut acting appearance in the movie, The Boyfriend, Gibb designed her outfits for the premiere appearances. These particular designs worn by Twiggy pushed him to forefront of the fashion world.
