Couple in an open top car

Photograph
c.1934 (made)
Artist/Maker

Crocker was a successful London fashion photographer of the 1930s. This image of a glamorous couple seemingly speeding along in an open car was made for advertising purposes. While the driver squints into the sunshine, his passenger blissfully tilts her head back with eyes closed. Her scarf stretches behind her to indicate movement, but her hair remains in place.
