Sir Ken Dodd was a British comedian often described as "the last great music hall entertainer". He was primarily known for his live stand-up performances and one-liners. His verbal and physical comedy was supplemented by his tradmark red, white and blue "Tickling Stick" prop, often introduced by his characteristic upbeat greeting of "How Tickled I am!" When Sir Ken Dodd passed away in March 2018, tickling sticks were placed in various locations around Liverpool in commemoration.
