Place of origin |
In this look the diaphanous fabric is layered up by the wearing of multiple garments, resulting in an arrangement of varying depths of colour. In places the grey builds to solid colour whereas at the ankles and wrists it forms no more than a translucent shade. Glitter trapped in the seams and hems replicate the build-up of fluff in pockets of well-worn clothes and contribute to the collection’s theme of temporality, magic and memories. The outfit illustrates the rigorous attention the designer gives to construction and pattern cutting. On the coat and jacket the layers fold in on themselves and side seams are avoided by working from one piece of fabric.
