Photograph depicts what is perceived as having been the Fenton family's water mill - Bobbins Mill at Hurst Green in Lancashire- which is believed to have been photographed in 1858 when Roger Fenton visited and stayed at the Mill (information found from Science and Society Picture Library's website)
