    'When I had my portrait taken, my face began to feel sad as I thought of your departure my darling Agnes you leave me; but my heart will follow you everywhere! / Farewell, if you love me you will make sure that we see each other again! To us forever!! / Marie Hillon, Geneva, 12 May 1863-!!'
